面臨實體唱片市場的持續萎縮，北美EMI / Capitol唱片公司決定出奇制勝,結合全美知名內衣品牌「維多利亞的秘密Victoria's Secret」的強勢通路與話題優勢，規劃在該網站提供北美樂迷搶先預購。

辣妹合唱團 (Spice Girls)年底將發行的精選輯《辣精選Spice Girls: Greatest Hits》，全美地區將由知名內衣品牌—維多利亞的秘密Victoria's Secret，「獨家」販售到明年一月底，大大顛覆以往樂迷在唱片行購買CD的消費模式。負責辣妹北美專輯銷售的EMI/ Capitol唱片表示，相中辣妹的超高人氣與女性內衣的高度話題結合，「維多利亞的秘密Victoria's Secret」預定將直接進貨辣妹精選輯高達六十萬張，而且自行負擔庫存囤貨。此具高度話題性、唱片與內衣銷售的異業結合，不但再次見證辣妹們復出的超高魅力，同時也為該內衣品牌預定12/4舉辦、媲美演唱會規模的年度大型內衣走秀發表會，掀起首波話題。

然而，數位發行則不在此限，全美樂迷依舊能在iTunes等合法數位平台，購買下載辣妹《辣精選Spice Girls: Greatest Hits》與獨家混音版本。

此外，辣妹首張精選輯也終於確定將收錄兩首全新作品，包括〈愛永恆Headlines (Friendship Never Ends)〉和〈愛情魔咒Voodoo〉。這張將採「單CD」、「CD+DVD」與「耶誕禮讚Gift Pack」等三種豪華格式發行的辣妹首張精選《辣精選》，已訂於11/13全台與全球同步發行。新曲〈愛永恆Headlines (Friendship Never Ends)〉 ，不但是全球樂迷等待長達七年、辣妹的最新單曲，同時也榮膺2007全英「關懷兒童Child In Need」協會年度慈善推廣曲，全台訂於11/2正式首播。

"Headlines (Friendship Never Ends)" is scheduled to be released as the first single from the Spice Girls's compilation album "Greatest Hits" on November 12, 2007.


The song will be the first commercial single release to feature the group's original lineup since Geri Halliwell left in 1998. The song is also the official 2007 Children In Need single. The five-piece will perform the song especially for BBC Children in Need viewers on Friday 16 November.

This will mark the first time in nine years that the Spice Girls have performed as a quintet.

Recently it has also been announced that in America, the Greatest Hits album will be available exclusively only through Victoria's Secret retailers 零售商(with 3 downloadable bonus remixes) and for download on the iTunes Store from November 13 and onwards.

The CD will not receive an official physical release實體發行 to regular music retailers around the United States 美國境內正規零售商- with the 3 different album formats -until January 2008.

The official Victoria's Secret website setup a pre-order service on October 17, 2007 for the album for only 24 hours. Reportedly 600,000 copies of the album are being shipped to America to the brand's retailers.

On October 5, 2007, group members Melanie C and Geri Halliwell confirmed that the Spice Girls Greatest Hits album would be released on 12 November containing all their hit singles. Latest updates from their official website also announced that the group's two exciting new recordings, new single "Headlines (Friendship Never Ends)", plus another track called Voodoo will be released in three different formats. "Headlines (Friendship Never Ends)" will be the official Children in Need charity single and will be released on 19th November, 2007.

The Spice Girls will also perform their new single "Headlines (Friendship Never Ends)" on BBC's official Children In Need program, on November 16.[28] Prior to that, a world exclusive screening of the video of "Headlines", which will launch the run up to Children in Need Night, will be aired on BBC One on Friday November 2. The music video was shot in the last week of October.

The Spice Girls are making their post-reunion American TV debut will be a performance at Victoria's Secret Fashion Show to be held at Hollywood's Kodak Theatre. The show will be filmed by CBS on November 15, 2007 for broadcast in December 2007.
